Empties of 2018 Part 5

I cannot believe that it is October already like seriously where has this year gone? The mornings are colder and I'm often popping to Costa before work and buy a chai latte to try keep my hands a bit warmer! Anyway back to the post I've made a pact to myself that I must start using the products I already have before I buy new ones hence why lately you will see these kind of posts every month or so.

I was very happy with this face wash, it wasn't heavy it was just right and when ever I used it my skin felt clean and it was designed to be used for combination to oily skin.

Would I buy again?
Yes, I would if they didn't discontinue it but I've found another Garnier face wash instead

How I keep my skin spot free

We have all suffered with breakouts at some point in our lives and if you haven't well you're just blessed. As a teenager I was lucky enough not to really have any I had the odd one but it wasn't till I got a bit older, in my early 20's, where they wanted to make an appearance and trust me it wasn't pretty. It knocked my confidence and I wasn't one to wear make up everyday just because (who's getting up earlier to put make up on?!) but there was times I had to, to cover the redness. I'd be lying if I said it never brought me down and times I didn't want to go out because I couldn't get my make up right to cover it. Also I did pick at them which is the worst thing to do as I'm now left with some scars and uneven skin tone.

Recently I've now been able to control my breakouts better, maybe it's because I'm getting older? I'm not sure but what ever I'm doing I will continue to do and I'm going to share with you what products I use. Also my skin type is combination, typical oily t-zone but occasionally suffer with dry patches around my mouth and chin (is very annoying)

Empties .. Love or hate part 1

Towards the end of summer I found myself finishing quite a few products and I've kept majority of them aside and thought I would review them and give my thoughts, some loved and will be reused but some would not be my immediate choice. This will be in two parts as I'm coming to an end with some more products.

Last minute Christmas gifts

Have you left it really to the last minute to buy something for a female? Well I've created another little list of things you can get last minute. If you can't make it into the stores a lot of places still have delivery options to have it in time for Christmas with of course delivery charges or some of them are offering free delivery of orders over a certain amount.

Empties of Summer 16

I've been thinking for a while now to post and share what products I've used up recently instead of just showing you the new things I buy. I see a few people do it and it is interesting, I often find I try new products and I either don't finish them and just leave them or they don't do what I want them to. When I decided I would do this post I had no empties so it was a little bit of a waiting game, I started to feel like the little kid of the Fairy washing up liquid adverts who wants the empty bottle lol.

Beauty buys of February

The last few months I’ve lacked in buying beauty products but that’s because I haven't seen anything that really catches my eye or something I’m in need of. Throughout February I’ve slowly got back into buying little bits and pieces. Here is a few of my favorites :)

Beauty buys of May

I treated myself a little bit this month with some new Benefit make up and Tangle Teezer and a couple usual products. I don't know about you but when you buy new make up (not renewing) I feel so excited to use it and try different looks. The buzz you get to try out that new lipstick or what I'm liking at the moment highlighter! That glowing skin especially now summer is coming. See below the few products I bought last month...

Beauty buys of February

I am so sorry this is like super late, I've been tired, busy and in London but I'm back! I had bought a few things that are not normally products I'd buy, I think its mainly because I'm trying to use different things and try other ways to manage my combination skin and look after it more. I've had so many spots in the past and still get them so I'm left with the after math of the red marks which my mum says they are not there but I know they are. I'm currently reading Sali Hughes "Pretty Honest" book and so far this has actually helped and educated me more in the world of beauty products from what foundation is best to use to hair removal! I'm still yet to finish the book but once I do it will certainly be something I will keep on my desk to hand if I ever need a little advice on something. Some of the below are not out of the norm for me but they are a different brand or something completely new to my daily regime, which when I have it perfectly sorted I will post but at the moment I 'm still in trial and error mode lol.

Wednesday Addams

Me and my family were invited to a fancy dress Halloween/birthday party last night, at first I didn't really want to dress up but as we were all talking I decided I would. As I have long hair dark hair my dad has often joked around and said that I should dress up as Morticia Addams which I was going to but I could really find a long black dress then I realised I had a dress which was kind of similar to Wednesday Addams and thought perfect. The dress I have had for well over a year and I've never worn it and was such a bargain as I bought it for less then £10 from AX Paris Curve (I think they have disappeared now?), paired with some 200 denier tights from Primark (so comfortable too!) and my military style boots and of course my new cute River Island Mini Structured Bag. I had been watching YouTube make up tutorials for Wednesday mainly for the eyes as I wasn't too sure how to do them and I had foundation and concealers that can make my face look paler. I bought this Beauty UK's eye shadow and liner but I didn't use the brush included I just used a Smokey Eye Duo Brush and for the base I used Soap and Glory's Kick Ass Concealer the used Lush's Light Yellow foundation and to top it off and keep it all matte (also my favourite beauty product) Inglot's Mattifying Loose Powder. We all finally finished our make up and costumes and oh my we all looked amazing and we had such a good night. We woke this morning and was just laughing so much with how everyone looked so good.

Beauty Buys of August

A couple months ago it was Nowara's birthday and I bought her a couple things from Soap and Glory as I know she loves them, so then I decided to buy some myself as I'd tried hers previously. As Boots do the 3 for 2 on the miniatures I thought why not, I got the Endless Glove, Hand Food and Mist You Madly. I am loving the mist spray, its a different day to day spray to what I'd normally use but its nice to have variety. The Hand Food cream is good, it doesn't make your hands feel greasy at all and is great to use daily. I haven't yet used the Endless Glove cream yet but my Mum has and said she loves it!
