Comedy night out?
Last weekend Mo the Comedian was in Ipswich so me and some family and Sharna got some tickets and said we would go out for the evening. A few of us went to Mizu to get some food before hand, if you know me, you will know that I love Mizu! If you every find yourself in Ipswich or Brentwood and like noodle oriental food I would definitely give this a try.

A few new things for Autumn
After going through my wardrobe on my week off, getting rid of clothes I haven't worn in over a year and know I'm not ever going to wear again or even wear for a first time. I try to go through my clothes well everything at least twice a year and I either pop some items which have barely been worn and still have a lot of use left on my Depop Store (search JanayAndre) or I give them to charity. I created some space in my wardrobe and as I was going through it I realised I could do with some more tops to wear casually out and to chill.
Me and my mum popped into Matalan a couple times in the last week, we forget we have one in Ipswich because of the location. I only went in for a pair of jeans and bought more than I intended to, oops! I pretty much have two new outfits that I can mix and match. I have always found the materials used of a good quality and know that they will last.

Clothing wishlist
Sorry I've been a little quiet lately, getting back in to the swing of things with work, getting back into the gym, started a separate boot camp class as well and it was my uncles birthday a couple weeks ago we had a family meal and then the weekend after a surprise party was arranged for him. Just feel like I haven't had any me time :( I'm happy to say this weekend I will be relaxing!
If I'm honest I couldn't tell you the last time I went shopping and bought loads of clothes possibly towards the end of summer? I have bought the odd thing but they have been more essentials like vest tops to wear under shirts, socks or buying the same pair of jeans you already own because they are so comfortable (I am bad for buying the same thing in all the colours or just having 3 pairs of the same item). A few things have recently caught my eye online and I thought I'd share with you what I'm liking at the moment.

How I style my over kneed boots part 1
For a little while now I had been eyeing up over knee boots which are appearing all over but always struggled to find any that would fit my calves. That was until I see that River Island were now doing a wide fit range but I couldn't justify spending £75 on them not knowing if I was actually going to wear them. I was browsing through Primark where I saw these "suede" over knee heeled boots at less then half the price, only £22!!

The longline check shirt
Over the weekend me and my family got together and we went out Saturday evening. It was a casual night not something to really get dressed up for so I decided to wear my new RI red check shirt. I see this last week when I passed through, I was mainly excited they had something in stock in my size!

Bodysuits
Over the last few months or so I've been shopping most weekends, finding bargains and slightly changing/updating my style a bit. I wanted to update my wardrobe a bit but also buy things that are basic items all girls should own. About three weeks ago I had popped into Primark and see that they had some bodysuits in various colours and styles. To begin with I was a little conscious about wearing them but I thought you know what, just buy it, so I did and since then I've been back and bought three more in other colours. I've been wearing them with high waisted jeans, they are superrrr comfortable and I don't have to worry about a top underneath rising up and being annoying. I have just fell in love with wearing them. If you're thinking about getting one go to Primark, they are no more than £5 so you can't really go wrong can you?! The poppers are something I'm slowly getting used to, it can be a nuisance when going to the toilet but it's something you get used to.

Is summer on its way?
Last Saturday I had popped out for a late lunch with a friend and a bit of a catch up. I wasnt feeling all that great Saturday and if I'm honest I'm still not quite a 100% but I thought I needed to get out have some food and I also wanted to get a couple tops from Primark. It was a lot warmer then it had been, I hadn't got any of my main summer clothes out my wardrobe because I've been managing with just my 'general' ones. I really wanted to stay away from wearing black, one we all know wearing black clothes attract the sun more and two it was a lovely sunny day so why would I want to be head to toe in black?! It was quite hot and I just found myself in front of my wardrobe and shouting (more of a cry for help) "what do I wearrrr????".

Shopping in Westfields
Last weekend we decided to stop by Westfields on Sunday on our way home from seeing Beyoncé on the Saturday. First thing we did though was have a cheeky Nandos, it had to be done (and we kind of skipped breakfast so we was hungry). Pretty much every shop we had gone into had a extra long queue, I have no idea why but everyone thought it would be a good idea to go shopping at that point. I did ideally want to pick up a few things mainly tops, as I seem to have enough jeans, skirts, trousers and leggins and I'm starting to think of late that I'm struggling to find tops in my wardrobe or I find myself wearing the same things on the weekends. There is not many (if any) stores that have plus size clothes in Westfields in Stratford but at the moment where I am loosing weight I am starting to find myself being able to shop in some of the "normal" high street stores which is a good thing and personally it makes me happy. I will never be skinny, partially because that's not how I am built and who wants to be skinny, like common really?

Beyoncé's Formation World Tour
What a weekend, me and a friend of mine were lucky enough to get tickets for Beyoncé's Formation World Tour for the 2nd July show, we bought them back in February which now seems like such a long time ago. Before we knew it was like 3 weeks away (where I started looking for an outfit), then 2 weeks (waiting for things to be delivered), then 1 week (buying last minute things) and then it was the day!

I'm wearing a maxi dress!!
Whilst we was in Cardiff it started to get quite a bit warmer then expected, me and my mum panicked a bit thinking we may need more summery clothing as we didn't pack any. We was just browsing around and now I find it hard to find clothes like, just too fussy. Surprisingly my mum found this long maxi swing dress in khaki from H&M, because of the style and colour she said it would suit me so well. I find the sizing in H&M so odd at times, on the tag they said it was available in XL but do you think I could find it, so I looked at the L and though ooh I will try it on see how it fits you never know. Well I was very surprised once I tried it on, it was fine it fitted so well and is a perfect length for me. Now I am not one for long maxi dresses as I am a little conscious of how they look on me but I thought I do not actually care I need something that will keep me cool and I personally thinks it looks nice on me. So I purchased it then I went to New Look and purchased a lace kimono which suited it perfectly and some lace up sandals from Primark. I didn't wear the outfit whilst in Cardiff but it got hotter in Ipswich when we got back and it was perfect when I went for lunch with Nowara Friday. We often forget that we do have some nice views in Ipswich but we only said this as we walked a long the docks seeing the different buildings and the water reflecting it was so calming. We had a cheeky Nandos (as you do), browsed through the town and finished off with a Costa and a long chat about everything. A few pics were snapped as the sun was setting. Oooooh and I had to finish off the outfit wit my stunning Fiorelli, Luella bag and unfortunately is out of stock in orange but they do seem to have other colours available, click here (some currently on sale too!).

The Kimono is out
Yesterday was a beautiful day, me and my mum decided to go for lunch at our favourite place Mizu and do a little shopping (like I really need to do any lol). It was a warm day but had a little breeze at times but it was comfortable unlike today, rainy and a bit chilly. When the suns out I feel very happy a lot of people can relate, the sun is an instant mood changer. I dressed very casual, light pair of jeggings, black top and the most comfortable pair of sandals I forgot I even had. I was feeling a little plain so I had a light bulb moment and decided to wear the mono print kimono from Asos Curve a month or so ago. I kept everything else to a minimum, natural look make up, little jewellery and I didn't even paint my nails! Sometimes I think being minimal is just what's needed and you don't need to constantly be dressed to the nines that becomes a full time job in itself!

Spring/Summer 2015 wishlist so far.....
Well over the last week or so it has been rather sunny, apart from the odd day of horrendous rain, seeing he sun has lifted my spirits up a bit which is good after feeling so rubbish for weeks. I could say I've started a spring clean and finally sorted out my clothes, given a lot to a local charity shop (first good deed so far of the year) and thrown out the ones I've worn to death, my shoes and bags are next and I'm totally dreading it. Now because its been sunnier its making me more think of the up and coming season clothes and accessories *excited much another reason to shop, like I need a reason lol*. So I've been looking online seeing what's about, now I'm not one to totally be one to be on trend I rather buy clothes I like and not because that's what's in season. Monochrome is still around *yay*, neutral tones, some pops of colour like yellow and some pale colours are about too. Of course there is more for example; floral prints you cant go wrong with and 70's look is making its way back but personally I'm unsure of this one. We still have another month or so before the weather starts to properly warm up so I'm tying to hold out a little a bit on buying clothes but I know if I hold out too long everything I like will be gone (like the lace bottom legging shorts from Asos Curve!), unlike before I am starting like now! I was a bit naughty last and bought Asos Curve mono print duster jacket which is not a jacket it anyway more like a kimono type "jacket". Below you will see just some of the clothes and accessories that I'm really loving at the moment and if you want to see more check out my Pinterest :) ... Look to the right an you will see the link straight to my page >>>>>>>
1. Asos Curve, Mono Floral Print Jacket (FYI this is no jacket it's more like a kimono, which is perfect for me)

Blush Pink
I had to pop out yesterday morning to post my #JoyfulJunePSBloggers parcel. The weather was looking a bit cloudy and was not as warm as yesterday. Trying to find something to wear was a little hard as my dad said it was suppose to brighten up. I was so eager to wear my new pink blush blazer I purchased from Primark last weekend whilst in London as it was not something I would normally purchase, as I normally stick to black and think I will jazz it up with accessorise. Since I have been blogging and looking at other peoples style it has made me realise I don't just have to wear black or dark colours I can wear different colours too. Not long ago I had purchased a pair of light wash jeggings from F&F which are super comfortable and stretchy as well which I find is a bonus and they only were £12 will have to be buying more! I never thought I would be ever buying a light pair of jeggings as I've always stuck with dark ones. I wore it with a simple black Asos Curve vest top and a pair light pink of sandals from Primark and my new cat eye sunglasses from River Island (my mum liked them so much she bought a pair but in a different colour!). Off I went posting my parcel I also though ah why not by a tripod for my DSLR camera, it would be so much easier taking pictures of outfits and to help with my photography a bit more as its something I really want to do more off. As soon as I got home it was straight out the bag and all set up to take a picture of my outfit that day. Below as you can see is my outfit using the tripod.

A Tropical Evening
I've been wanting to write this post for the last couple days but I haven't been feeling well for a few days (still feeling like poo). My auntie had called me to tell me she had made some Jamaican Patties and that they were "wicked" and to pop round and get some (and they were so tasty!). Well I didn't make it round till evening as my mum came home from work and we had a bit of a catch up as I hadn't really seen her for a couple days. I do love to spend time with my Mum and just talk about everything and we try to do something once a month, either go shopping or for a bite to eat and we're doing something this Friday :)! After the A Confident Me On The Rise? post I just wanted to wear something a little different and for some reason I really wanted to put some eyeliner on which I haven't done a cat flick in years. I bought this Tropical print dip hem long sleeved shirt from Primark a couple months back but I was a little scared to wear such a bold print because I normally stick to just block colours. I thought to myself no just wear it and I did with a pair of black stretchy trousers and I loved it. My mum was in a little shock I think because I had a little make up on (just to even out my skin tone) but was not caked and a print shirt, she actually kept saying how nice I looked in the middle of conversation a few times lol but then my dad said I looked like someone from the 80's? They had these dip hem shirts in a few different colours which I have in the black and a cobalt blue (at a bargain price of £5!) they go with anything, they can be dressed up or down but I do find the sizing in Primark is such a hit and miss to the point I actually sized down in it. I'm really sorry that the pictures are not that clear, unfortunately my auntie's kitchen is not the greatest for lighting.
