A casual Friday

The other week (on a Friday) I popped out very briefly to get my eyebrows and lashes tinted, on my days off I do like to look nice not necessarily dress up with a full face of makeup and heels but you know just like you have made an effort without making an effort, if that makes sense. Scanning through my wardrobe for something to quickly put on become a bit of a mission but I remembered I bought this long tunic/top from Tu Sainsburys that would be perfect with a pair of leggins or jeans and boots.

Myself and my mum often have a little browse in the clothing section in Sainbury’s they often have some lovely items and they are not badly priced either. She loves a bit of TU clothing, I’ve had to tell her she needs to venture out to the town centre now and again! Also Gok Wan’s collection is there and every season he brings out a new range I fall in love, in my opinion he caters for real woman and in his dresses there's often detachable control wear included.

Spring/Summer 2015 wishlist so far.....

Well over the last week or so it has been rather sunny, apart from the odd day of horrendous rain, seeing he sun has lifted my spirits up a bit which is good after feeling so rubbish for weeks. I could say I've started a spring clean and finally sorted out my clothes, given a lot to a local charity shop (first good deed so far of the year) and thrown out the ones I've worn to death, my shoes and bags are next and I'm totally dreading it. Now because its been sunnier its making me more think of the up and coming season clothes and accessories *excited much another reason to shop, like I need a reason lol*. So I've been looking online seeing what's about, now I'm not one to totally be one to be on trend I rather buy clothes I like and not because that's what's in season. Monochrome is still around *yay*, neutral tones, some pops of colour like yellow and some pale colours are about too.  Of course there is more for example; floral prints you cant go wrong with and 70's look is making its way back but personally I'm unsure of this one. We still have another month or so before the weather starts to properly warm up so I'm tying to hold out a little a bit on buying clothes but I know if I hold out too long everything I like will be gone (like the lace bottom legging shorts from Asos Curve!), unlike before I am starting like now! I was a bit naughty last and bought Asos Curve mono print duster jacket which is not a jacket it anyway more like a kimono type "jacket". Below you will see just some of the clothes and accessories that I'm really loving at the moment and if you want to see more check out my Pinterest :) ... Look to the right an you will see the link straight to my page >>>>>>>

1. Asos Curve, Mono Floral Print Jacket (FYI this is no jacket it's more like a kimono, which is perfect for me)

My weekend with my auntie's

My auntie (Dolly) had asked me to come over on Friday afternoon for a little catch up and we was going round a friend of hers for a small BBQ and a few drinks. We had a good catch up on everything even though I did see her the weekend before! As the weather was so beautiful I opted for my green and black dip hem dress I bought a few years ago in George Asda, its such a comfortable dress (I did forget to get a picture of me in it got carried away!) We had such a laugh that evening a carried onto her friends were it carried on.. All evening the weather was bliss it did not get cold at all even so we actually walked home early hours of Saturday morning lol. We went back to my aunties and she reminded me to come round to her on the Saturday for pre drinks as we were going to a wedding with my other auntie (Lisa). The forecast for Saturday was rain and thunderstorms I was not impressed I had planned to wear a red/coral dress. Luckily the weather was hot and sunny so I stuck to what I had planned to wear my Coral/Red New Look dip hem dress, Ted Baker Jelly Bow Sandals and myRiver Island White Laser Cut Underarm Bag. I arrived at Dolly's around half 6ish and see Lisa had made her way there as well. We had a couple starting drinks, finishing off our nails and trying to cool down and we was off. I had many compliments on the dress. I met my friend Daniel there as well who looking very smart in his White Blazer. We had a good catch up laughing, joking, drinking and dancing of course. I did manage to get a selfie (in the toilets) but couldn't get a full length one :( (sorry if its unclear!). The main thing was we all enjoyed ourselves and typically me and Daniel were the last ones to leave!
