How to boost tired and dull skin

Do you ever get that feeling when you look in the mirror sometimes and your skin just looks dull and tired and you just feel urgh? Well lately that's exactly how I've been, the past couple months have been a lot crazy for me some of you know but all will be revealed shortly in a post and on my YouTube channel.

I thought I would share with you all what I have been doing to give my face/skin a little boost and some me time, just to let you know if you don't know already I have combination skin so some of these products may not be best suited but I will try and link the equivalent. You may think this is quite simple but finding the products that suit your skin can be quite difficult to begin with. This is what I tend to do once a week or some products once every few weeks.

Empties of 2019 Part 2

It's that time again to see what I've recently finished and my thoughts. In this month there has been some great products used and definitely thinking of purchasing in the future again.

Dove deodorant in floral touch
I absolutely love dove deodorant, it's one of them ones that you smell like hours after you've sprayed it. Usually I just get the original but I thought I would give this one a try and it's a light floral scent it's not like over powering make you want to sneeze kind of scent and won't clash with any perfumes.

Would I buy again?
Yes :)

The Body Shop hand and nail cream in almond
Honestly these hand creams last so long and it's surprising that a little bit goes a long way. This is such a moisturising cream but doesn't make your hands feel greasy or dry after 10 minutes and it doubles up as a nail cream too I noticed when I used this often my nails would look and feel better.

Would I buy again?
Yes, recently bought mini one hoping it will help get my nails back looking better again!

How I keep my skin spot free

We have all suffered with breakouts at some point in our lives and if you haven't well you're just blessed. As a teenager I was lucky enough not to really have any I had the odd one but it wasn't till I got a bit older, in my early 20's, where they wanted to make an appearance and trust me it wasn't pretty. It knocked my confidence and I wasn't one to wear make up everyday just because (who's getting up earlier to put make up on?!) but there was times I had to, to cover the redness. I'd be lying if I said it never brought me down and times I didn't want to go out because I couldn't get my make up right to cover it. Also I did pick at them which is the worst thing to do as I'm now left with some scars and uneven skin tone.

Recently I've now been able to control my breakouts better, maybe it's because I'm getting older? I'm not sure but what ever I'm doing I will continue to do and I'm going to share with you what products I use. Also my skin type is combination, typical oily t-zone but occasionally suffer with dry patches around my mouth and chin (is very annoying)

April's Love Me Beauty

I've been subscribed to Love Me Beauty for a few months now and I must say for a beauty subscription box/bag I really quite like it. You pay Around £13 including postage per month and you get 60 credits to use in their store, everything is of different value, the products are not always full size they are more like deluxe samples but they are so ideal and perfect for on the go and your trying the product before you buy it full size. They often have a feature brand each month within their edit which has a selection of products from that particular brand, for example they've had: Make Up Forever, Kat Von D and Charlotte Tilbury, it feels like a treat to try these brands as some of them can be pricey.

Each month you will receive an email to let you know once you're credits have been renewed and a link to shop the edit. You have to use a minimum of 60 credits per order but you can buy additional credits if you want if there is something else that. Some months there will be products from previous edits but sometimes these are handy as they are mainly of smaller value and can bulk up your order. I do look forward to receiving my order as I find the products in the edits are really good quality, also they come in a little zip up pouch with different patterns/colours each month.

This month I had a look through and I decided to pick the following:
Eco Tools Full Powder and Precision Blush, Dr Bragi Sheet Intensive Treatment and Popband hair band.

Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Mask review

A few months ago GlossyBox sent a sample of the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask, I honestly didn't think what they had sent would be enough but it was. This clay mask is designed to draw out the impurities, revive and refined your skin. Of course being that it is from Body Shop it is 100% vegan and free from parables, paraffin, silicone and mineral oil. It's packed with natural ingredients including green tea leaves (everything about green tea is just good) and tea tree oil which we all know helps with spots.
