March 2018 mini shopping haul
Throughout March I had been shopping a little bit more than I needed to, I think it's because I was fed up of wearing the same thing over and over and just wanted to update a few things. I get excited at the moment when I'm walking into shops because all new season items are around and now that it's getting warmer its a sign Spring/Summer is now on its way!
If you didn't know I love shopping and I wanted to share with you guys what I've purchased so I got everything all together and filmed it. It is my aim this year to do more videos over on my Youtube channel.
Take a look at what I bought...

Have you been shopping or bought anything new recently?

Comedy night out?
Last weekend Mo the Comedian was in Ipswich so me and some family and Sharna got some tickets and said we would go out for the evening. A few of us went to Mizu to get some food before hand, if you know me, you will know that I love Mizu! If you every find yourself in Ipswich or Brentwood and like noodle oriental food I would definitely give this a try.

Finally found a bomber jacket!!
So last week I finally bought a bomber jacket, I’ve been looking for one for ages but just trying to find that right one. You know when you have this vision of what you want but everywhere you look you can’t find it. To be honest it got a little frustrating in the end but one day I just found it and loved it. I found it on Asos Curve and I have been in love since it arrived. They are so versatile and can be worn with pretty much anything! Last week I was meeting up with Nowara for a catch up and I just wanted to be casual, it didn't take me long to decide what I wanted to wear. I dug out my light jeggins, black t-shirt and my trainers and finished with my lovely new jacket and off I went. I have a thing that when it's like winter (technically it’s now Spring) I don’t feel right wearing light coloured jeans/jeggins, don’t ask me why but it has always been that way with me and because the days are not so gloomy I thought I could get away with it. And I did! It wasn’t the warmest of days but it kept me warm without being too thick. This has definitely now got to be my go to jacket except when/if we get a good summer. Also I’ve had some compliments since I’ve been wearing it too!

My Birthday!!!
It was my birthday on Sunday so since I finished work at 12 Thursday I had literally not stopped until Sunday/Monday. As me and my best friend Sharna do we celebrate our birthdays for the whole weekend sometime even two weekends because our birthdays are 5 days apart and its become a tradition we do something together.
So when I finished work Thursday, I straight away went into the town centre and got my hair cut, it desperately needed a trim and my non existent fringe cutting back in. So with my hair cut I went for a browse but surprisingly I could not find anything I liked, I just left and headed home. Later in the evening I decided I was going London for the night as I do.
I woke up Friday thinking I would do a bit of brief shopping in London before I leave mainly because I was going out in Ipswich that night and it was my birthday weekend I wanted something new. Disappointingly I could not find anything and what I did see I knew I would be able to buy in Ipswich. I went home sad and hungry lol. When it came to choosing an outfit for the night that was stress, I knew Sharna was coming round for pre drinks but I was in a panic as nothing was going right for me, my hair was taking forever and my make up (don't go there). She came with a bottle of wine luckily by this point I had minimal but my going out make up done just needed her opinion on the outfit which I went for all black (that's totally not like me lol). We had a good night seeing loads of people who we don't see so much any more. All in all it was a good night.

About last night
A few of us from my work place had got together for drinks to celebrate one of the girls birthday. Prior to the evening it was the case of what am I going to wear, I had to wear my Carvela fringed shoe boots but what else?! Looking through my wardrobe and then online, I then purchased a black high neck dress from Asos Curve and when I tried it on with my white long line jacket from Primark it looked perfect. A classic classy look (well I though so anyway). I don't think Primark still do the jacket but I know there is plenty similar in shops still. The dress is very comfortable and did not rise or feel awkward in any places but walking up and down stairs was a bit of a stretch lol. We all had a funny night, a lot of laughing and few drinks and some dancing. I woke up fine this morning but I know there is a few of them that were feeling a little under the weather. x

The Kimono is out
Yesterday was a beautiful day, me and my mum decided to go for lunch at our favourite place Mizu and do a little shopping (like I really need to do any lol). It was a warm day but had a little breeze at times but it was comfortable unlike today, rainy and a bit chilly. When the suns out I feel very happy a lot of people can relate, the sun is an instant mood changer. I dressed very casual, light pair of jeggings, black top and the most comfortable pair of sandals I forgot I even had. I was feeling a little plain so I had a light bulb moment and decided to wear the mono print kimono from Asos Curve a month or so ago. I kept everything else to a minimum, natural look make up, little jewellery and I didn't even paint my nails! Sometimes I think being minimal is just what's needed and you don't need to constantly be dressed to the nines that becomes a full time job in itself!

Spring/Summer 2015 wishlist so far.....
Well over the last week or so it has been rather sunny, apart from the odd day of horrendous rain, seeing he sun has lifted my spirits up a bit which is good after feeling so rubbish for weeks. I could say I've started a spring clean and finally sorted out my clothes, given a lot to a local charity shop (first good deed so far of the year) and thrown out the ones I've worn to death, my shoes and bags are next and I'm totally dreading it. Now because its been sunnier its making me more think of the up and coming season clothes and accessories *excited much another reason to shop, like I need a reason lol*. So I've been looking online seeing what's about, now I'm not one to totally be one to be on trend I rather buy clothes I like and not because that's what's in season. Monochrome is still around *yay*, neutral tones, some pops of colour like yellow and some pale colours are about too. Of course there is more for example; floral prints you cant go wrong with and 70's look is making its way back but personally I'm unsure of this one. We still have another month or so before the weather starts to properly warm up so I'm tying to hold out a little a bit on buying clothes but I know if I hold out too long everything I like will be gone (like the lace bottom legging shorts from Asos Curve!), unlike before I am starting like now! I was a bit naughty last and bought Asos Curve mono print duster jacket which is not a jacket it anyway more like a kimono type "jacket". Below you will see just some of the clothes and accessories that I'm really loving at the moment and if you want to see more check out my Pinterest :) ... Look to the right an you will see the link straight to my page >>>>>>>
1. Asos Curve, Mono Floral Print Jacket (FYI this is no jacket it's more like a kimono, which is perfect for me)

Blush Pink
I had to pop out yesterday morning to post my #JoyfulJunePSBloggers parcel. The weather was looking a bit cloudy and was not as warm as yesterday. Trying to find something to wear was a little hard as my dad said it was suppose to brighten up. I was so eager to wear my new pink blush blazer I purchased from Primark last weekend whilst in London as it was not something I would normally purchase, as I normally stick to black and think I will jazz it up with accessorise. Since I have been blogging and looking at other peoples style it has made me realise I don't just have to wear black or dark colours I can wear different colours too. Not long ago I had purchased a pair of light wash jeggings from F&F which are super comfortable and stretchy as well which I find is a bonus and they only were £12 will have to be buying more! I never thought I would be ever buying a light pair of jeggings as I've always stuck with dark ones. I wore it with a simple black Asos Curve vest top and a pair light pink of sandals from Primark and my new cat eye sunglasses from River Island (my mum liked them so much she bought a pair but in a different colour!). Off I went posting my parcel I also though ah why not by a tripod for my DSLR camera, it would be so much easier taking pictures of outfits and to help with my photography a bit more as its something I really want to do more off. As soon as I got home it was straight out the bag and all set up to take a picture of my outfit that day. Below as you can see is my outfit using the tripod.

The love for a shirt
Recently I have been seeing a few shirts about and the last few times I've been to London I've ended up buying a shirt (mostly from Primark). Shirts are so versatile and can be dressed up for a night out with a pair of heels and skirt or down with a pair of leggings or jeans and boots. I'm not sure why but I am now a bit of a sucker for a shirt and a long line cardigan an will soon be purchasing some jumpers too as winter is approaching very quickly!! So I think this season shirts will be my main thing. The other day I met up with a couple of my girls for a catch up and a bite to eat and with a new grid print shirt purchased the week before I just had to wear it I wanted to wear my light grey cardigan but as it was raining that wasn't a good idea so I quickly put on my zig zag jacket (here's something similar) and went. I kindly asked Nowara to get a few pictures in front of the random "?" by the docks and she gladly said yes! Thank you :)

Catch Up Friday
I haven't been feeling very well for a few days but I had planned earlier in the week to catch up with Nowara which was much needed, in the evening. I was up early on Friday which was unusual as it was my day off, I'd straightened my hair (which seems to take forever!) slowly got ready and I had to go into town to get a couple things then come back to meet my mum before we went food shopping. By the time we got home it wasn't long before I had to go back out again, it felt like I was on the go all day which was a good thing. The sun was shining very bright and surprisingly wasn't really that cold which was a good thing but I still wore my black lace up boots which now I love wearing super comfortable with a Asos Curve black swing top and my New Look Inspire Blazer during the day but later changed into my "leather" jacket from River Island as I knew it would get cold. Anyway we met up at my favorite place Cult, I hadn't been for a while and it's not overly expensive. We had a few drinks and something to eat (I had the food in the top left of the picture and Nowara had the naughty Waffles and Ice Cream) and a well deserved catch up. Was lovely evening ...

The Girl With The Red Lips
Daniel once again has done it to me and got me to go out on Thursday night. As usual I have a panic on what to wear. I've had a bit of a long week back at work after having time off and I didn't feel to dress up too much I wanted it casual but a little dressy kind of. I wore my black mesh panel leggings from ASOS, long sleeve black shirt from Primark and my New Look sandals (unfortunately no longer in stock).
One thing I did love was my hair and make up, I curled the ends and just before I left I went a little crazy with TRESemmé Texture Style Divine Definition Spray and some hair spray to keep the curls in place and they certainly lasted even till the next day! For my make up I used the Benefit's Pore Professional as a base/primer, then L'Oreal Paris CC Cream in Anti Redness to try even out my skin tone (I will be writing a post about this in more detail). I used Inglot Mattifying Loose Powder in the white to just keep my face from going shiny, whenever I'm out and about this is a key item I have in my bag! Of course I have to use Benefit's They're Real Mascara to add onto my eyes as I do really wear eye shadow. Red lips was a must but I'm still trying to find that perfect shade of red instead of mixing two together. I based my lips with the No7 Stay Perfect Lipstick in Grace and the topped it with the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick in Hot Pepper and I loved it.

A Confident Me On The Rise?
I just wanted to share this outfit with you all quickly. Last Thursday I got a little dressed up and me and a friend of mine (Daniel) went out very last minute. I was rummaging through my wardrobe in a panic on the phone to Daniel throwing mini hissy fits because I couldn't find anything to wear. He was telling me to wear this Kimono I got from River Island about 3/4 yeas ago (which he was with me when I bought it). Then it suddenly clicked I'll wear my Black Midi Body Con Dress with Short Sleeves from Asos Curve and my new Block Peep Toe Heels from New Look. The ones I purchased have since sold out but here is some very similar. The material (of the dress) perfect it's not too thick and not too thin and see through and it is quite long which is what I like. I loved my outfit so much and I felt confident with myself in what I was wearing and so happy and thought I don't have to be smaller size in order for me to feel good on the inside as well as the outside! I just keep reminding myself to just be happy!!
